Carolyn J. Carroll

Carolyn J. Carroll, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born January 24, 1939 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late William Chessman and Orpha Mae (Wilson) Liston.  Carolyn retired from Midwest Optical where she was employed for 15 years.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Liston.  Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William R. Carroll, Jr.; two sons, John A. (Julie) Carroll, Joseph T. (Janelle) Carroll; grandchildren, Zachary (Emily), Daniel (Alena), Jacob, Elizabeth (Johnny), Joseph (Mindy); great-grandchildren, Ava, Noah, Dahlia, Lilly, Colton, Sophie, Amelia; two brothers, Richard and Robert Liston; as well as numerous other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Monday January 18, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Maple Ave. Church of God, 1352 S. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Bill Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Rd.,  Fairborn.  Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
