Carol Ann (Rose) Hardin

Carol Ann (Rose) Hardin age 76, 0f Queen Creek AZ, went home to be with the Lord May 12, 2024.  Carol was born August 7, 1947 in Xenia, OH to Donald and Anna (Thornton) Rose.  Carol was raised in Xenia, went to school and graduated from Xenia High School in 1965.  She entered the workforce at Wright-Patterson AFB in 1974, working for the Department of Defense as Security Manager in a computer center. She lived in Fairborn, OH for over 35 years, and in 2016 moved to Arizona and lived there with her son and daughter-in-law until her passing.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bruce Rose, paternal grandparents, Stanley and Bertha (Lomax) Rose, maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary (Nared) Thornton-Ewing, nephews Juan J. Rose and Juan M. Rose.  She is survived by her two loving sons, Eugene (Tamika-wife) Hardin II, of Queen Creek, AZ and Cory Hardin, of Xenia, OH, grandchildren, Lakin Hardin, Teagan Hardin, Quinn Hardin, and Rylann Turpin of Kettering, OH, brothers, Juan Rose, Chillicothe, OH, Terry (Beverly-wife) Rose, Delaware, OH, and Gregory (Ruby-wife) Rose, Xenia, OH., special uncle Donald Ewing, Xenia, OH, sister-in-law, Blythe Rose, Columbus, OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Carol dedicated her life to the Lord in 1997 joining Bethel Temple Church.  She was a faithful member, serving as an usher until her health started failing her.  Carol greatest joy was being with family, especially her sons and beautiful grandchildren.  Because of their distances most communication with her grandchildren was by FaceTime which she always looked forward to interacting with them, they were her pride and joy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday May 24, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bethel Temple Church, 914 E. 3rd St., Xenia, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Silvercreek Cemetery, Jamestown.
