Carol Ann Mccormick

Carol Ann McCormick, age 63 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday May 6, 2018.  She was born September 20, 1954 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Bernard and Jacqueline (McGinnis) Logan.  Carol was a longtime office manager in the Dayton Area.  She enjoyed baking, gardening, flowers, animals, spending time with her grandkids, nature, and volunteering at Carriage Hill Metro Park.  Carol was a member of Friends of Serpent Mound, Shaman Drum Circle at Studebaker Farm, Brukner Gem & Mineral Club, Dayton Ghosthunters Society, and the Prodigy Paranormal Group.  She is preceded in death by her father; and dogs, Ruby, Buck, Puzzle, and Annie.  She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mark W. McCormink; a daughter, Dr. Leona Amalia Houston (Alexander Reuben Whipp); two grandsons, Bix, and Xan; mother, Jacqueline;  brother, Garry (Jane) Logan; two sisters, Diana Logan, Anita (Kirk) Jones; nieces and nephews, Trishauna Trissel, Libby Mastbaum, April Jeffery, Alex Sedam, Lonna Sedam; and "sister" cousin, Jo Elizabeth McGinnis.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Joe Becker officiating.  The family will receive friends for the viewing from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.  The Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers,  contributions may be made to Pets without Parents, 629 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus, OH 43214.
