Carol Lynne Fugate, age 62 of Beavercreek, passed away March 15, 2024. She was born September 12, 1961 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Bill and June Clark.
Carol’s energetic and openhearted personality left a mark on everyone she came in contact with. She loved going to the beach and also enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by half-brother, Robert Lee “Bobcat” Clark; aunt, Nora Faye Merrill. Carol is survived by four sons, Jon (Jessica) Fugate, Tim Sexton, Will Smith, Michael Jr. (Annie) Price; eight grandchildren, Sloan, Stella, Raelin, Remy, Joe, Tim Jr., Brooke, Aiden; significant other, Richard Peacock; longtime friend, Betty Del Llano; as well as several siblings, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brigid’s Path, 3601 S. Dixie Dr., Kettering, OH 45439 -or- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital -or- Wounded Warrior Project.
