Carl E. Jones, Jr.

Carl E. Jones, Jr., age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday June 19, 2018.  He was born November 16, 1936 in Osborn, OH, the son of the late Carl E. Sr. and Henrietta J. (Crist) Jones.  Carl served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Korea; and followed with employment as an accountant at DAPP, Inc.  He enjoyed gardening, history, being the family photographer, and spending time with family whom he was very proud of.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Lundy of Fairborn; and a nephew, Scott Lundy.  Carl is survived by a sister, Mary Ellen (Jim) Hill of Fairborn; four nieces, Teri (Ken) Wilson of Fairborn, Kathy (Chuck) Christian of Huber Heights, Debbie Hartley of Fairborn, Pam (John) Connolly of Huber Heights; two nephews, Jim Hill of Fairborn, Greg Hill of Fairborn; as well as numerous other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
