Brent Jeffrey Ferguson

Brent Jeffrey Ferguson, age 39 of Fairborn passed away, Monday, December 9, 2024. Brent was born October 9, 1985, the son of Timothy D. and Vickie L. (Garrett) Ferguson.

Brent was a father, husband, son, brother, coworker, and friend to many. He was a graduate of Fairborn High School (FHS). Brent dedicated his career with the Gordon Food Services (GFS) where he drove freight. He was well known and loved amongst his fellow colleagues.  He was kind, loving, and passionate. In his free time, Brent cherished spending time with Brentley. He looked forward to taking his son to his baseball and basketball practices, especially, his games! In addition, Brent also enjoyed attending his nieces’ and nephews’ many sporting events.

Brent was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Preceded in death his paternal grandparents, Dewey and Lavona Ferguson; maternal grandfather, Wayne Garrett Sr.; and uncle, Jim Garrett. Brent is survived by his wife, Cassandra “Cassie” (Craft) Ferguson; children, Brentley Cole Ferguson, Lilly Craft; parents, Timothy D. and Vickie L. (Garrett) Ferguson; siblings, Jonathan D. (Jennifer Minning) Ferguson, Jessica D. (Thomas McCloud) (Ferguson) McCloud, Scott R. (Stephanie Cossin) Ferguson; grandmother, Willie M. Garrett; nieces and nephews, Haley Victoria, Peyton Ferguson, Colin McCloud, Delilah McCloud, Clayton Ferguson, Brayden Ferguson, Luke McCloud, Chloe Ferguson, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, coworkers, and close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M., until the time of service, Pastor Ken Majors officiating. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.
