Brenda Sue Meyers, age 70 of Fairborn passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 7, 1953, in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alfred Leroy and Barbara Ann (Kelley) McCall.
Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, colleague, and friend to many. Brenda navigated a long and fulfilling career as an accountant employed with SELECT Industries Corporation in Dayton. In addition, she served as President on the international council executive board of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA). Throughout her life Brenda made a sustained effort to give back and help others. Her volunteering with St. Jude Children’s Hospital is a testament to her commitment to make a positive impact on those around her. Not only an accomplished professional, Brenda prioritized spending time with her family. This promise never wavered even as Brenda went to university at a later age in life and obtained an accounting degree from Sinclair Community College—in order to secure a management position with SELECT. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, swimming, and the outdoors. Those that knew and loved Brenda can attest to her fondness for the classic story of ‘The Wizard of OZ’.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Shelly (McCall) Bates. She is survived by her dear husband of 38 years, Terrance “Terry” Meyers; children, Richard (Kendra) Smith, C.J. Smith, Rick Meyers, Randy (Lori) Meyers, Terri (Mike) Jacobs, Robin Walker; siblings, Mike (Dawn) McCall, Eddie McCall, Lisa Isaacs, Cathy (Ron) Rowland; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and very special friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 P.M., to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324.
