Barbara H. Henley

Barbara H. Henley, age 85 of Fairborn passed away November 27, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was born May 12, 1939 in Fargo, North Dakota, the daughter of Vern and Helen (Bates) Lachowitzer.  Barbara enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William P. Henley, Sr., daughter, Jonie Henley; and two sisters, Joan King, Susan Butterball.  Barbara is survived by two sons, William Jr. (Christine) Henley, Robert Burton; grandchildren, Dalton, Bradon, Harper; brother, Vern (Julie) Lachowitzer; niece, Ashley (Greg); nephew, J.R. Lachowitzer; as well as extended family and friends.  A memorial service will be held Friday December 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Fairfield Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
