Annette V. Meyers

Annette V. Meyers, age 81, of Fairborn, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. She was born August 24, 1940 in Buffalo, New York; the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary R. (Costrine) Muffoletto. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Victoria Chojnacki and son-in-law, Steven Pleasant. Annette is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Ronald C. Meyers; children, Teresa Pleasant, Kevin (Kathleen) Meyers, Donna (James) Hobbs, Michelle (Gary) Reynolds, Keith (Kimberly) Meyers, and Susan (Robert) Wapelhorst; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle), Emily, and John Pleasant, Eric (Maggie) and Chris Meyers, Ryan and Lauren Hobbs, Logan Reynolds, Noah and Alex Meyers, and Andrew and Joseph Wapelhorst; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Arlo, and Silas; and numerous extended family members and friends. Annette was a member of the Mary, Help of Christians for many years and served as the school secretary. She was a proud Air Force wife in support of her husband. Annette brought her family together by cooking large Italian meals. What she loved most was her loving family, especially lighthearted family gatherings. She was known as an adoring grandma and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. Fairborn, OH 45324. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary, Help of Christians, 954 N Maple Ave, Fairborn, OH 45324 on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10 AM with Charles Lang, celebrant officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Pink Ribbon Girls in memory of Annette.
