Anna N. Davis

Anna N. Davis, age 87 of Englewood, formerly of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday March 27, 2024 at the Hospice of Dayton.  She was born April 6, 1936 in Morgan Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Maggie (Lewis) Adkins.

Anna was a graduate of Fairborn Bath High School, Class of 1954.  She was a member of Troy Freewill Baptist Church and was strong and devoted in her faith.  An excellent piano player, part of her legacy will include her patience and guidance while teaching someone a new chord or scale.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Herb in 2012; six brothers, Earl, Curtis, James, Oakley, Herbert, Edward; a sister, Sada Long; and a daughter-in-law, Kay Davis.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Davis, Rick (Kathy) Davis; a grandson, Jerry Jr. (Janet) Davis; four step grandchildren, Lisa, Lori, Lauren, Katie; six step great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends, including her bonus daughter, Connie Donaldson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Rev. Robert Legg officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
