Inez Fyffe

Inez Fyffe, age 91, of Fairborn passed away May 2, 2024.  She was born June 1,1932 in Irvine, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (McQueen) Brinegar.  Inez was very involved in the church that her husband was a Pastor, she was known for taking care of others.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, bird watching and flowers.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Charles (Mary Elizabeth) Brinegar, Eugene (Mildred) Brinegar, Hazel (Ervin) Jenkins, Marie Angel, Ernie Lee Brinegar; brother-in-law, Sonny Short; and grandson-in-law, Ben Goodpaster.  Inez is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dorsie; children, Carolyn Sue Fyffe, Vickie (Mike) Morgan, Dorsie C. Fyffe, Jr., Brian Scott (Andi) Fyffe, Michelle Marie (Ryan) Tierney; grandchildren, Stephanie Goodpaster, Matthew Morgan, Phoebe Fyffe, Elliott Fyffe, Zoe Tierney, Ronin Tierney; great grandson, Lucas Goodpaster; siblings, Cordelia Short, Joseph (Nancy) Brinegar, Patty Sue Greene, Elizabeth Ann “Sissy” Benner; special nephew, Rick Jenkins; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eizel Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Inez will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Valley Hospice in her memory.
