Elizabeth A. "Betty" Chaffin

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Chaffin, age 68 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday November 2, 2023 at the Legacy of Beavercreek.  She was born September 10, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph W., Jr. and Pauline (Hochwalt) Schulte.

Betty was a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church.  She was retired from Omnicare where she was employed as a pharmacy technician manager; and she also successfully operated her own eBay store for many years.

Betty is survived by her husband of 29 years, Tim; a son, Brian (Melissa) Overton of Omaha, NE; a daughter, Melanie (Kevin) McGovern of Fairborn; two granddaughters, Maria Overton and Lux McGovern; two brothers, Lee (Linda) Schulte of Lima, OH, John (Cheryl) Schulte of San Juan Capistrano, California; nieces and nephews, Monica, Greg, Joe, and Blythe; as well as numerous other extended family and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday November 9, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 10, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, Father Andrew Smith Celebrant.  Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
