Martha L. "Sally" Dwyer

Martha L. “Sally” Dwyer, age 102 of Enon passed away March 18, 2024.  She was born July 28, 1921 in New Rumley, Ohio, the daughter of the late Homer and Eva (McAfee) Sawvel.  She worked for the National Cash Register and followed with employment in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB.  Sally was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Red; enjoyed spending time with family, she was known for sending cards for special holidays.  In addition to her  parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; three brothers, John, Charles, Dwight Sawvel; two step-sons, Michael, David Dwyer; daughter-in-law, Juanette Dwyer.  Sally is survived by her stepson, Tom Dwyer; five grandchildren, Greg (Jamie) Dwyer, Billy (Mia) Dwyer, Trisha (Aaron) Elliott; Amy Dwyer, Kelly Thomas Dwyer; daughter-in-law, Jan Dwyer; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.
